Looking for a dog?
If you are interesting in adopting a dog, please contact us via email. Adoptions take time, and not all applicants will be approved. The process is as follows: Application submitted and reviewed by WIPBR, along with veterinary references and landlord approval (if applicable) will be checked.
**PLEASE NOTE: All applicants must agree to having a background check of public records done. NO application will be accepted if the check is refused. We also will not adopt to anyone under the age of 18.** No matter if the application is accepted or not, we will contact you and let you know the outcome. Assuming your application is accepted, an interview and/or home visit will be set up. Following that, we will process the information and provide you with a list of available dogs that fit your lifestyle and situation.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DENY ANY APPLICANT AT ANY TIME, AS WE ARE DEDICATED TO FINDING PERFECT HOMES FOR THESE DOGS.

Need to place a dog?
If you are no longer able to keep your APBT, please email us. Although we are currently not accepting owner surrenders to the program, we are in contact with several other rescues and individuals that may be able to help.
We may also happen to have an approved applicant that is waiting for a very special dog that we just may not have in foster care, but your's might be the perfect match. Although cases like that are rare, they do happen. We would certainly accept an owner surrender if there was an applicant that fit the dog perfectly.
